We were so lucky to find this place! The pork knuckle with sauerkraut was exceptional! We also tried the smoked sausage. Outstanding too!
Customer services is really good. We spoke broken french and luckily they spoke perfect English. Super friendly and relax. -

Visited this quaint restuarant for lunch opening day of the Christmas market. Reservations a must. Staff very friendly, some English spoken. Limited options if you aren't a huge meat lover. We split fois gras appetizer. Small, however exceptional flavor. Sauerkraut very tasty! Would I rush back? Probably not because of limited selection for myself not being a huge meat lover, however everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. Potatoes great! A bit on the pricey side for lunch.

Pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Fabulous smoked salmon and onion tart! The beef steak was a bit over cooked, nothing to rave about. The potatoes were out of this world! We ended the dinner with a plum pie which was an unexpected treat. Excellent service. Warm atmosphere. Lots of locals and regulars. Highly recommend.

The perfect quaint Alsacian restaurant. The spaetzle was life changing - the coq au vin was alright. The schlachterplatte was AMAZING. Pork knuckle was great. Escargot was incredible. Boozy desserts are boozy as hell. Great wine selection. The menu is in French, German, and English. The staff knows enough English to get by if you don't know any French. I went twice in a 1-week trip because it was THAT good.

Excellent Alsatian style food and good wine. Servers were friendly. Nice wine list with Ostertag bottles and others. Good quality Rieslings by the glass too. The smoked sausage with potato salad was delicious. Since this place is so famous I hesitated to go at first thinking it might be touristy, but it's not touristy at all just a solid Alsatian style restaurant.
